Need of Trust for our Community

Though there is a trust on the name "Sagara Kshatriya Welfare and Charitable Trust", it is not much active in terms of doing activities on behalf of community. Well, I dont feel wrong to have one more trust on the name of our community, which should be formed by seniors, well educated and professional, retired employees of the state and central government. These people will guide & decide the activities to be organised by the trust on a regular basis. Above all what is important is to have huge funds on the name of the trust, that should be raised through donations from all our community members throughout the state. Though we are socially, economically, politically not strong, can make this happen. I also feel the need to have a hostel in Hyderabad, for the benefit of our students, who come from different parts of the state for study and coaching purpose. Especially, youth has to take the responsibility and should come forward to volutarily take such assignments. If it sounds interesting, make your comments, let us join together and form youth groups in each town, village, and city and can think & decide as to what should be Done.

Legends of Kshatriya Sagara

ML JayaSimha

First of all, Let us know about famous Hyderabadi ex Cricket Player Late M .L. JayaSimha.
Motganhalli Laxminarsu Jaisimha was born on  March 3, 1939, Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh, was an Indian Test Cricketer. M.L. Jaisimha was a right-handed batsman who was popular for his style on and off the field. He was a medium pace bowler, often opening the bowling for India, and was a brilliant fielder. Partab Ramchand wrote after Jaisimha's death that "his slim figure, which he maintained till his last day, the boyish good looks, the inimitable gait, the trademark silk shirt and scarf, the sleeves buttoned at the wrist or the collar turnedup, all these attracted immediate attention. He was called by ‘cultivated stylist’ by Indian Cricket.

Jaisimha made his first-class debut at the age of 15 scoring 90 for Hyderabad against Andhra Pradesh. He played for Ranji matches and also for international test cricket. Later he converted to an opener due to the competition in the middle order.

Famous Indian captain Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi was also played under his leadership. ML Jaisimha was a selector during 1977-78 and 1980-81, and managed the Indian tour to Sri Lanka in 1985-86. He was represented the country as a Test Cricketer, Test Selector, Cricket Commentator, Sportswriter, Media Person and State Coach.  Jayasimha’s son Vivek Jaisimha was a first class cricketer.

Later, Jayasimha’s wife jayanthi jayasimha and her family members promoted the “Jaisimha Cricket Academy”, to fulfill a cherished dream. The Academy brings cricket to one and all in matchless style by providing unique stadium-like, all-weather cricketing facilities in an 8000 sft indoor arena, 365 days a year (on a pay-and-play basis).
